Hitting the Road to Overland Expo West 2025

Last week, we packed up the van, loaded it with spice, and hit the open road for Overland Expo West 2025—an epic gathering of gearheads, road warriors, and fellow adventurers in Flagstaff, Arizona.

We rolled out from our home base in Bend, Oregon, linking up with our friend Andrew at Lost Fox Creative & Flatline Van Co. for the ultimate road trip south. First stop: Yosemite National Park, where towering granite cliffs and golden hour views made for the perfect start to the journey.

From there, we dropped into the surreal landscape of Alabama Hills, winding through boulder-strewn trails that looked straight out of a sci-fi movie. We met up with our buddy Fred Pompermayer, surf & adventure photographer, for some camping nestled against giant bolders.

Next up was the red-rock glow of Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada—a quick pit stop that turned into an impromptu photo shoot for our powdered hot sauce (because everything looks better with those Martian backdrops).

Finally, we pulled into Flagstaff just in time for the expo. The energy at Overland Expo West was wild—in the best way. We connected with overlanders, off-roaders, and outdoor enthusiasts who were stoked to hear about Wildfire Spice Co., and we had the chance to swing by Babbitt’s Backcountry Outfitters for some last-minute gear and good conversation.

It was a week of campfires, canyon roads, and community—exactly the kind of vibe that fuels our brand. We came home dusty, inspired, and more fired up than ever.

Until the next adventure,

Wildfire Spice Co.
